Start planning your 4th of July festivities now! Here are some great free Firework Shows around the Austin area.

Vic Mathias Shores – Austin, Texas 

The 40th Annual July 4th Concert starts at 8:30 pm. Relax and enjoy the patriotic sounds of the Austin Symphony Orchestra until the fireworks begin at 9:30pm.

Fisherman’s Park – Bastrop, Texas

The Bastrop Patriotic Festival begins at 4 pm on July 2nd. There will be food booths, activities and live music to enjoy until the grand finale performance of fireworks and the Austin Symphonic Band.

Hill Country Galleria – Bee Cave, Texas 

The Hill Country Galleria Independence Day Festival begins at 6:30 pm. Enjoy wonderful food, shopping, and live music while celebrating local artists and their work. Fireworks will start at 9:15 pm.

Buda City Park – Buda, Texas 

Red, White and Buda starts at 9 am with a children’s parade, featuring decorative floats, bicycles, and floats. The festivities continue into the night with live music and a fireworks show.

Cedar Park, Texas 

Cedar Park 4th of July Parade begins at 10 am, traveling down Discovery Blvd. to the Cedar Park Recreation Center. At 4 pm, the festivities move to Milburn Park for carnival games, live music, free watermelon and other activities, leading up to the fireworks show.

Dripping Springs Ranch Park – Dripping Springs, Texas

The Fire in the Sky 4th of July Celebration starts at 5 pm and will have food trucks and an optional dinner catered by Salt Lick BBQ for refreshments, a bounce house, a petting zoo and more to make for a fun evening, capped off by fireworks beginning around 9:15pm. A portion of the proceeds will go towards the North Hays County Fire & Rescue, as well as toward flood relief efforts.

San Gabriel Park – Georgetown, Texas

Sertoma Annual 4th of July Celebration is a day of fun activities for the whole family, including the Hometown Parade, games, arts and crafts, and petting zoo. The event will wrap up with a fireworks finale around 9:30 pm.

Plum Creek Golf Course – Kyle, Texas

The Kyle Independence Day Celebration begins at 6 pm in the Clubhouse with refreshments and live music and at 9:30 pm a view of the fireworks.

Bar K Recreational Park – Lago Vista, Texas

The Lago Vista 4th of July Celebration held on July 2nd starting at 10 am. The Community Patriotic Parade, Classic Car Show, and Firecracker 5K and 1 mile Fun Runs are just some of the activities to enjoy at this all-day celebration. Have a swim and listen to some live music along Lake Travis and then enjoy the firework display at Dark:30.

US 183A South between San Gabriel Pkwy & Hero Way – Leander, Texas

Liberty Fest held on July 3rd begins at 5 pm with great activities for everyone, including laser tag, sports games, an obstacle course, and musical performances by Kevin Fowler and the Warhorses. Fireworks start at 9:10 pm.

Lake Pflugerville – Pflugerville, Texas 

Pflugerville Pfirecracker Pfestival starts at 6 pm with two live music stages, good food, arts and crafts, and some kayaking. Fireworks begin at 9:10 pm.

Old Settlers Park – Round Rock, Texas

July Fourth Frontier Days Celebration begins at 10 am with the SERTOMA Round Rock Fourth of July Parade. After that, enjoy a festival with carnival rides, pig races, free watermelon, and much more. Fireworks begin after dark, followed by a movie in the park.

San Marcos Plaza Park – San Marcos, Texas

SummerFest will start 6 pm and feature live music starting with the Adam Johnson Band, followed by Wyzer playing a variety of musical genres. In addition to the food and activity booths will be the Children’s Patriotic Parade and Costume Contest. The event concludes with fireworks at 9:30 pm.

Murphy Park – Taylor, Texas

After some fun at the festival, which includes a tennis tournament, pick out a good spot and enjoy the lights in the sky at dark.
